Family Recommended Books

Books are a great way to help get your family get on board with living green.  They help introduce abstract concepts and get kids to see the big picture.


Knowing what your cookware and bakeware is made of is important since it can contain harmful toxins.  There are a lot of options that are safe for your family at a range of price points making it easy to cook and bake greener!


There are lots of green options when it comes to decorating your home or hosting friends and family.  It’s easy to make some simple swaps ’cause every small change helps!


Whether you are dining at home or taking it to go, there are tons of ways you can do it a little greener!  Even something as simple as bringing along cloth napkins reduces waste and makes a difference!

Personal Care

Safer, greener choices in personal care are products that are made in a sustainable way (i.e. from recycled materials), can be recycled when you are done and/or don’t contain harmful toxins.  There are so many choices!

Pet Care

Your pets are a part of your family and you want what’s best for them too.  And, with the many choices available now it’s easy to go green with pet care too!


Service providers are a huge help in going green.  I look for companies that provide their service in an eco-friendly way or that allow me to take another step in living greener.

A big part of going green is reducing waste.  Having the right tools and systems in place will help a ton as well as get your family on board with it too!

Water & Energy Savers

Conserving natural resources is a big part of living green.  You can make a difference by swapping out the products you currently use for others that are just as easy to use but provide the benefit of cutting down on water and energy use in your home.
